Wandmaking 201 – David Hochhalter (David Hochhalter & Tom Crepeau)
A very satisfying sequel to “Wandmaking 101”. Despite the length of the first book, all its action takes place over a single day. This book covers the next day. If you read and enjoyed 101, you’ll want to read 201.
“Wandmaking 201” was more-obviously a juvenile than the first book. If there is a theme, it is about parents’ veto power over their children’s life decisions, to the point where that theme distracts from the story. But there is a lot of story, and I look forward to “Wandmaking 301”.
Postscript: Other books in the same milieu have come out, but not titled ‘Wandmaking 301’.
